WHAT DOES VLT MEAN ACCORDING TO UTAH STATE LAW

The percentage of light that a window tint film allows to pass through your car windows. It is called the VLT (Visible Light Transmission). Each state has different legal allowable limits. The amount allowed in Utah for Passengers vehicles depends on what type it is – passenger or multi-purpose?

A HIGHER VLT means that more light it allows passing through the window tint film, making for a much darker appearance. For example, 75% tints will allow 75% of visible rays while only allowing 5%.

STATE OF UTAH INFORMATION

Living in Utah is like living on top of the world. The state has an area larger than Texas. But thanks to its high plateaus and peaks are home only about 80% as many people. It leaves plenty for vacationers who enjoy hiking through canyons or camping near lakes with views. That span across several states. All within reach if you’re not too far from Salt Lake City. The land here feels limitless. There’s always more space where one horizon meets another.
